Frank D. Ferris

Engineering Services
Specialist in Programmable Logic Control Systems (PLC's).

Find me on the MAP.

Currently seeking work in the Jackson, Lansing and Ann Arbor areas.

In addition to my 15+ years of on-the-job experience in industrial controls, I also have an intimate  knowledge of office PC's (Hardware, software, installation and setup of option cards, Disk drives, memory modules, motherboards, etc.), once worked as a service technician (servicing TV's, Stereos, and Personal computers), and as a member of the corporate IT (computer systems) department for Visteon automotive in Dearborn, MI. All this, in addition to a BS Degree from Michigan Technological University, where I majored in Computer Engineering (Programming, fundamentals, and Circuit Design). With this kind of background, I should be able to service all your office PC's -- in addition to providing valuable support for the manufacturing process, out on your plant floor (PLC programming, hardwire, Hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)

If you think you may have a use for someone with this kind of background or think you may know someone else who does, then I would very much like to hear from you. I may be reached at (517) 796-2748. If I am not available to answer the phone, please leave a message on my answering machine and I will get back with you as soon as possible.
